Scaffolder helps students develop essay writing skills through scaffolds and templates. You can export essay plans to word to finish the product in a full functioning application. This app is part of a number great apps by teacher collection.
Sidebar Dictionary is an app that can be used when you split the screen. For example you may split the screen with this app and sit it next to your desktop as you write an essay in word (for example). The app has will read words to you and has a great thesaurus as part of the app.
Everyone has their personal words they just always get mixed up. Spelling Words allows personalisation of learning through building your own spelling lists and provides opportunities to practice! There are many similar apps available but this is best I have found so far!
